The Grace Community Centre has been shaped by everyone who has passed through its doors — children who found safety here, volunteers who gave their time, partners who believed in the work, and community members who showed up when it mattered. Grace Community has been my foundation — through my education, it has shaped me into who I am today. Through Archbishop Samuel Barasa, we were given a strong spiritual background. For as far as I’ve come, Grace Community has supported me a lot.
You know what — I never knew that one day I’d have my studies done and enjoy all the privileges a child should have while growing up, but God did it through Grace Community Home. More blessings to my papa Dr. Samuel Chikamai for his continued support through my growing-up journey. He offered everything a child could ever want — emotionally, spiritually, and economically. He was there to support, advise, and pray for you. He was always there for me especially. If I were to repay him, a million dollars would not be enough — not to mention his workers. It was a good place indeed, and I’ve achieved through my college level and have something to do and put something on the table. To God be the glory, and may Grace Community Children’s Home and Centre live long.
